Disney Cruise Line - The Wonder

We took our very first Disney Cruise Line vacation in 2008. It was an awesome vacation and 2 years later the kids still talk about it. Their most popular question is, when are we going back to the Mickey pool?

This was a fantastic vacation for so many reasons. We had an ocean view cabin with the split bath. The split bath means you have two bathrooms in your state room. One has a toilet and sink and the other has a tub (thats right a tub) and a sink. This made getting our family of 4 ready so much easier. I wouldn't use the tub for a bath since its quite small but it was perfect for bathing our 2 and 4 year old.

The meals were also great and the wait staff knew just how to keep our kids happy during the meals. They were friendly and very personal. They made meal times very special. We rotated through 3 restaurants. Each one was different and enjoyable. The first night we ate at Animator's Palate. The restaurant starts in black and white and color is added throughout your meal. What a magical way to start our cruise! The second and third night we ate at Parrot Cay. This tropical restaurant was beautiful. We ate one night without the kids and got dressed up. The other night was the Pirates IN the Carribean party and we all had a blast. The last night we ate at Triton's. This fancy French restaurant was delicous. We had excellent food and really enjoyed our last night there.

The entertainment on the ship was Disney at its best. It is way too much to cover here so I'll expand more in another post. There is certainly no way you or your kids would be bored on a Disney cruise.

Among the trip highlights were the children's pool area, the fireworks at sea, the Pirate IN the Carribean party, and lots of characters. Check out some of these pictures from our cruise to see just how much fun we had.
