Disney Diva Tips

There is some Disney lingo that might be confusing to understand. Here is some of the lingo defined. Let me know if there is anything else you want to know.

ADR - Advanced Dining Reservations - You can make these 180 days in advance and you should, especially if you are going during a free dining plan promotion. You still check in 15 minutes ahead and there is no penalty if you cancel or  don't show up. (unless it is one of the few dinner shows and resteraunts that require a credit card to hold your reservations

Backstage - Anything behind the scenes that you don't see.

DME - Disney Magical Express - This is a free service that takes you from the airport to your Disney hotel and back. You will get special luggage tags and you put them on your luggage BEFORE you leave home. Disney will get your luggage from the plane and bring it to your room. All you have to do is get off the plane and head to bus that takes you to your resort.  DME will schedule your return trip to the airport about 3 hrs before you flight. Keep that in mind when you set your flight times.

DDP - Disney Dining Plan - This really is a savings. There are several levels of the plan including a quick service plan, the regular dining plan and the deluxe dining plan. Check back for posts with more info about that.
