Biergarten in Germany, Epcot Review

If you are looking for dinner and a show in Epcot then the Biergarten in Germany is the place to go. They are open from 12pm until 8:30 pm serving both lunch and dinner. Around 3:45/4pm is when the meal and prices shift from lunch to dinner. The restaurant is filled with long tables that accommodate several groups. You will be seated with other families. We have always found this to be fun.

The meal is served buffet style and includes assorted salads, traditional sausages, red cabbage, roasted pork, rotisserie chicken, potatoes, schnitzel, spaetzle (dinner also includes Sauerbraten). Desserts are an assortment of German desserts including apple strudel and black forest cake. The also have authentic German beer.

Throughout the meal you will enjoy German music and traditional folk dancing. It is not continuous or timed to each seating but you will enjoy both times of entertainment and quiet. My parents spend 2 weeks traveling through Germany last year and ate in 14 different towns. They said the experience and food at the Biergarten is just as good as anything they had in Germany. Thats is quite a compliment. They always have a meal at the Biergarten when they are in Disney or in Florida. If you like German food and enjoy celebrating Oktoberfest then you will definitely enjoy at meal at the Biergarten.

This meal (lunch or dinner) counts as 1 table service meal on the meal plan. Lunch is $19.99 for Adults and $10.99 for children. Dinner is $32.99 for adults and $13.99 for children. Be prepared to pay the tip and for any alcoholic beverages you order if you are on the meal plan.
