My 5 Day Disney Itinerary - Day 2

     Day 2 started out with a 9:30 breakfast at the Grand Floridian for the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare. We were at the bus stop for the Magic Kingdom bus by 8am. Once at the Magic Kingdom we went back on the monorail and got off at the Grand Floridian for breakfast.
     This was a delicious breakfast that was an all you can eat buffet. The Mickey waffles were a lot of fun. Overall I don't think breakfast is that exciting so I don't remember too much about the food. We did see lots of great characters such as Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Alice, The Mad Hatter, and of course Mary Poppins.

That picture with Mary Poppins just made her day. She said to me, "Its really her!!" She had such a nice talk with us too. There is something so special when your kids meet a face character because they can talk and interact with them so personally. (Used 3 TS)

After breakfast we were planning to head out to Typhoon Lagoon but as you can see it was raining. We are flexible though so we decided to head over to the Magic Kingdom instead. Back on the monorail and in a few minutes we were there. I popped the rain cover over the stroller and we were off. It didn't bother Ethan. He went right to sleep. We got Ashley her balloon and went in search of some rides. We took a leisurely day through the park without any real schedule to keep.

We visited with Mr. Smee and Captain Hook outside of Pirate of the Caribbean, rode the carousel, and the Tomorrowland Indy Speedway among other things.
We had lunch at our favorite Columbia Harbour House (3 CS) and then we enjoyed some ice cream from the Enchanted Grove and went to Storytime with Belle. (2 snacks). This was in the Fairytale Garden on the Tomorrowland side of the castle. It was a shaded area that was a nice place to cool off a bit. Belle tells her story and uses the children to help her. After a fun day we didn't think the kids would make it through fireworks and we had another MK day planned so we decided to head back to the resort and have dinner.

The World Premier Food Court has some serious food choices for dinner. My mom had the roast turkey dinner and it included vegetables and mashed potatoes. It was a good size meal and shared some with Ashley. I went the more causal route and had the Double Cheeseburger with fries. (2 CS) We got 2 ice creams on the way out as our dessert that came with our meal and went back to the room to put the kids to bed. (If you are eating at your resort and your meal come with dessert be sure to ask if you can get it later so it doesn't melt on you) Another successful day.
